2023 marked a significant milestone for the Arizona Sustainability Alliance (AZSA). In our journey over the past six years, our tree-planting initiatives have greened urban spaces and united communities under a shared goal. This year, we’re excited to embark on an even greater mission. Thanks to the City of Phoenix and the American Rescue Plan Act, AZSA has received over four million dollars to advance tree canopies in urban centers, a crucial move against climate change and the urban heat island effect. This funding and support extend beyond just one project and impact the entirety of AZSA and its efforts!
